This add-on does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your data. Your document never leaves Google's servers. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no backend that sees your writing.
It requests three OAuth scopes, all classified by Google as non-sensitive:
documents.currentonly — read and edit only the single document the add-on is open in. It cannot list, open, or see any other file in your Drive.userinfo.email and openid — your email address, used solely to check that a licence key belongs to the account using it.It does not request access to your Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service.
Numbering, cross-referencing and index generation all happen inside Google Apps Script, executing against the open document. Document content is never sent to us or to any third party. We operate no server that receives document data.
If you activate a paid licence, the licence key is stored in Google's per-user properties store for this add-on. It contains your email address, your plan, and an expiry date. It is readable only by this add-on, for your account. You can remove it at any time from the add-on's Licence panel.
No other data is stored. We keep no database of documents, captions, or usage.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as our payment processor and receives your billing details directly. We receive your email address and subscription status in order to issue and honour a licence key. See Stripe's privacy policy. We never see your card details.
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer any personal information to third parties. There is no advertising, no data brokerage, and no profiling.
This application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: we do not transfer, use for advertising, or allow humans to read user data obtained through Google APIs.
Because we hold no document data, there is nothing of yours to export or erase on our side. To delete your licence record, or to ask any question about this policy, email nathan@devcatapult.com and we will action it within 30 days.
This add-on is intended for general and professional use and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change and the change will be described here. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
